The foundations of Erdemoğlu Holding were laid in 1970 when Mehmet Erdemoğlu the Wise Man of Besni migrated to Gaziantep and bought two carpet looms.
In 1990, Merinos Halı San. ve Tic. A.Ş was established. Upon the establishment of the company, Erdemoğlu family took the first step towards institutionalization by gathering the efforts they have given under one roof. Today, Merinos is the world's largest machine-made carpet manufacturer.
It is an integrated facility with a closed area of 58 thousand m2. All chemical processes of the fibers are made in the facility and made into the yarn ready to weaving.
Dinarsu, which was established in 1955 and joined Erdemoğlu Holding in 2005. Dinarsu is the first tufting carpet manufacturer with CЄ certificate in Turkey. Dinarsu continues its activities with the production of tufting carpets, lawn carpet in the part carpet and wall-to-wall carpet area.
In its 45 thousand m2 facility, which is established on an area of 200 thousand m2, it produces machine carpets and yarn for Russia and the region countries.
Erdemoğlu Holding, which was founded in 1970, today engages its activities in many industries from carpets, furniture, polymers and chemicals, home textiles, yarns, construction to energy with its 16 companies.
It provides sales, marketing and logistics of Merinos products to 3,000 sales points in Germany and England mainly.
In the factory located in Uşak Organized Industrial Zone, besides the blanket, all home textile products such as rugs, duvet sets, sleeping sets, quilts and licensed products can be produced.
Sasa, which has started production in polyester sector in 1966, was transferred to Erdemoğlu Holding in 2015. Sasa is the world's leading manufacturer of polyester fibers, filaments, polyester-based polymers, derivative products and specialty products.
